Shane Lancaster >

Shane was born and raised in Lonaconing, Maryland. He has been blessed with two beautiful daughters and one adorable granddaughter. Shane came to the Union Rescue Mission as homeless in August of 2023. He stood out as a resident due to his work ethic, his honesty, and his compassionate heart. He was offered the position of Male Resident Manager and became staff in October of 2023. Shane is an excellent addition to our team, upholding the rules of the shelter and helping to hold our residential men accountable, but also leading with kindness and grace. Shane is a lover of the outdoors and enjoys spending his downtime camping and hiking.
