Joshua Ault >
Men’s Case Manager
Josh was born in Baltimore, MD, but moved to Petersburg, WV, when he was 5 and stayed there until 2019 when he moved back to Maryland. His first experience with the Union Rescue Mission was in April of 2020 as a homeless individual, hopeless, with no place to stay or turn. After seeing his dedication to turning his life around, he was offered the Men's Resident Manager position, which he faithfully served in for a year and a half until Men’s Case Management became available. He was in the process of planning his wedding with his now wife, Eugenia, and was excited for the opportunity to still serve at the Union Rescue Mission but be able to live off-site and grow in his marriage. After considering the qualifications and job duties, as well as praying and seeking God’s will for his life, he accepted the position. His main focus at URM is to come along side of the residents to help them procure anything they need in order to obtain stable housing. Each resident is placed on a uniquely developed housing plan that addresses his or her personal needs, ranging from procurement of a basic government ID, to paying off debt, to educational goals, to eventual housing procurement. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and playing video games.
